Every number below is from the maker's own site - Husqvarna and Echo - or, for Greenworks, from the Amazon listing, checked in late September 2026.
Backpack Blowers Compared
| Model | Power | Blow force | Air flow (nozzle) | Air speed | Weight |

Husqvarna publishes a higher headline CFM in its marketing copy for some models (765 for the 150BT, up to 890 for the 360BT); the table uses its "at nozzle" spec figures so they compare with Echo's nozzle figures. The Greenworks listing does not give blow force or weight.
Reading the Specs
Blow force (newtons) is, in our view, the best single comparison, because it reflects both air volume and speed - and both Husqvarna and Echo publish it. Nozzle CFM is how much air leaves the tube. MPH is air speed; a high number with modest CFM, like the 150BT's, is a fast, narrow stream.
The Picks

50.2cc X-TORQ engine, 21 N, 494 CFM at the nozzle, 180 mph, 22.5 pounds, with LowVib vibration damping and air purge for easier starting, per Husqvarna. Sold by Amazon.
Husqvarna 150BT: The Speed Pick

Husqvarna 360BT: More Force

What About Echo?
Echo's PB-580T (22 N, 517 CFM, 216 mph) and PB-770T (33 N, 756 CFM, 234 mph) are well-specified backpacks with a 5-year consumer warranty per Echo. Echo warns against buying from unauthorized marketplace sellers and recommends its authorized dealers, and the Echo listings we found on Amazon were third-party offers - so we do not link them. See our Echo blower guide for the full lineup.
Backpack or Handheld?
The handhelds on our gas blower list weigh about 9 pounds with 12.5 to 15.8 N of force; the backpacks here are 22 to 25 pounds with 21 to 37 N. If your cleanups are long or your leaves are wet and heavy, the extra force is what the backpack buys you. For quick jobs, a handheld or a battery handheld is easier to live with.
